Antioxidant Capacity of Salix alba (Fam. Salicaceae) and Influence of Heavy Metal Accumulation

In this study, we analyzed and compared the concentrations of selected metals/metalloids antioxidant response Salix alba L. (white willow) bark in highly polluted area around Kosovo A B thermal power plants. The capacity was evaluated terms total phenolics, flavonoids, chlorophylls, carotenoids, while metal content soil willow by ICP-OES (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy).
